The Income Tax Department has raided the house of Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, actress Taapsee Pannu and Madhu Mantena. Income tax officials have also reached the office of Madhu Mantena’s tank management company Kwaan. It is being told that this raid is being done in connection with the tax evasion of Phantom film.
Sources in the Income Tax Department say that the Income Tax Department has raided people associated with Phantom films in the case of tax evasion. This includes Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Pannu, Vikas Bahl and others. Many other people are also being searched in relation to tax evasion by Phantom films.
The team of Income Tax Department is conducting simultaneous raids in 20 places including Mumbai, Pune. It consists of four companies.
