Naresh Kanodia, the superstar of Gujarati films, has passed away at the age of 77. He was tested corona positive and undergoing treatment at U.N. Mehta Institute in Ahmedabad for the past few days.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has tweeted and paid tribute to him. He wrote- ‘I am deeply saddened by the demise of Gujarati film superstar and BJP leader Naresh Bhai Kanodia. His invaluable contribution in the field of social and arts will inspire the new generation. MLA Mr. Hitubhai talked to Kanodia over the telephone, “I pray to God, may God place his divine soul at his feet and grant his family and all well-wishers the power to bear this sorrow. ૐ Peace!’
Naresh Kanodia is considered a superstar of Gujarati films and has done hundreds of films in Gujarati. His son Hitu Kanodia is also a Gujarati film artist. His brother Mahesh Kanodia has also been a member of the Rajya Sabha of the BJP.
