The Bollywood superstar singer Dhvani Bhanushali had her birthday yesterday (22 March). She turned 22 this year and amidst the coronavirus pandemic, she decided to celebrate her birthday by donating 55 thousand INR to the Film and Television Producers Guild of India for daily wage laborers in the entertainment industry.
Due to the lockdown of the whole country, the workers in the entertainment industry are suffering a lot and to help them fight these harsh circumstances Dhvani donated the amount for their well being. She had also posted a video through her social media account giving out information about this donation. She has captioned this post by mentioning that this year on her birthday instead of having big celebration and party she decided to donate a part of her income to the daily wage workers whose income has stopped due to the lockdown of the industry. In the video, she said that being part of this industry, she knows what happens behind the camera. Everyone including spot boy, cook, cameraman, and many others work hard to earn on a daily basis. Today, it’s the time and my duty to help them in this situation.
