Kangana Ranaut Asks for 2 Crore Damage Compensation from BMC for the Illegal Demolition Carried Out by BMC

Kananga Ranaut amended her previous petition before the Bombay High Court asking for 2 crore compensation for the illegal demolition carried out by BMC. She said BMC has demolished 40% of her building that include valuable movable property like Sofa, artworks, and more. Actress’s advocate Rizwan Siddiquee informed the Bombay High court that he would amend the 29-page previous amendment that he filed in haste. Now, he amended his petition with 92 pages petition before the Bombay high court.

In her petition, she seeks to restrain the BMC from taking any further action of building demolition. She further sought permission to take necessary action to make the bungalow capable of use. Kangna’s Lawyer Rizwan said that he sent a reply to BMC under section 354A, but it was rejected at 10:35 am. BMC had come with all demolition equipment that tells their preplanned motive to demolish the Bungalow. They were already even before the impugned order was passed by Bombay high court.
