Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Wednesday after a month of prison. She was spotted heading home soon after she was released from Byculla Jail. Her lawyer Satish Maneshinde says that she lived like common inmates in jail, she was seen in good spirits; she conducted yoga classes for herself and inmates. He further stated that Rhea ate food cooked in the jail-like others; she didn’t eat home-cooked food due to the pandemic.

Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by NCB for alleged consumption and procurement of drugs for her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. However, she was given bail on several conditions like she has to furnish one lakh of the bail amount, submit her passport, to appear before CBI in a month, and local police station for 10 days after she was released.

The court has rejected the bail plea of Showik and others who involved in drug procurement. On Rhea’s bail, her lawyer expressed happiness and thanked the honorable court. However, NCB is to challenge her bail in the Supreme Court.
