The Bollywood actor, Varun Dhawan has earlier made a donation of total Rs. 55 lakhs to PM-CARES and Maharashtra CM relief fund. Now again, the actor has come up and committed to donate free meals to the frontline workers, medical staff and doctors.
Varun made this announcement through Twitter and has shared a little note with it in which he has written: “This is a long battle and we have to fight this together.” In the post, it is mentioned that “With each passing day of being locked down at home, my heart goes out to all those who have no home in this time of crisis. And so this week I have committed to provide meals to the poor who are without homes and jobs.”

Additionally, he also committed to help the medical staff and doctors by providing them meals for a week. He stated “All the meals are provided through the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust. It’s a small step. But during a crisis like this, we have to make every step count. I will continue to do what best I can.”
