From designer Sabyasachi to the actress Anushka Sharma and the cricketer Virat Kohli, everyone donated their part to raise the fund and help the nation combat this crisis.
Today, on 30 March 2020, cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka made an undisclosed contribution to the PM-CARES fund and took a pledge to support the government in every way possible. They tweeted about this expressing their grief for the suffering nation has to face.

This couple has constantly been urging people to stay at home, take precautions and follow social distancing choose not to disclose the amount they are donating. One of the most popular actors among the youth, Kartik Aaryan has already been in highlights for supporting PM Modi in the fight against coronavirus. He expressed his feelings on the social media by writing “It is the absolute need of the hour to rise together as a nation. Whatever I am, whatever money I’ve earned, is only because of the people of India; and for us, I am contributing Rs. 1 crore to the PM-CARES fund.” He urged his colleagues as well to help as much as possible.

The couple Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra pledged to donate an amount of Rs. 21 lakhs to PM-CARES fund. Shilpa Shetty states that every drop in the ocean counts.

The veteran fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee pledged to donate Rs. 10 million to PMNRF (Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund) and Rs. 5 million to Chief Minister of West Bengal relief fund.
The Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar became the first celebrity to donate Rs. 25 crore to PM-CARES fund. He mentioned on Twitter that “This is that time when all that matters in the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes.”

Former cricketer and present Lok Sabha MP, Gautam Gambhir released the amount of Rs. 1 crore from MP LAD (Local Area Development) Scheme towards relief efforts to fight against coronavirus crisis.
