The Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has announced his part of the contribution that he is going to do in his own modest way to help the central and the state governments in the fight against Coronavirus. Shahrukh Khan’s group companies- Red Chillies Entertainment, Kolkata Knight Riders, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX will all make their contributions in this mission.
The announcement was made through the Red Chillies Entertainment official Twitter account mentioning that “Whilst we stay safe at home, many r working for our safety & fending for themselves. Here’s our little contribution to ensure their health & well being! Separate but together, we will overcome!”

Recently, another announcement is made where it is mentioned that Shahrukh Khan has contributed to PM-CARES fund, Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund, donated 50000 PPE kits for health care workers with the West Bengal and Maharashtra governments, donated daily food requirements, 5500 families, for a month wit ‘Ek Saath Foundation’, donated 3 lakhs meal kits to 10 thousand people with ‘Roti Bank Foundation’, donated basic necessities for a month to 2500 daily wage workers with Working People Charity and a monthly charity to over 100 acid attack survivors.
