Many countries in the grip of second wave of Coronavirus, increased risk of lockdown again

Israel again enforced a national lockout in the country on Friday. Strict restrictions have been imposed on people for three weeks. People cannot go 1 kilometer away from their homes. Israel is the first country in the world to re-enact national lockdown. But many other countries are also facing the threat of a second wave of Corona.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that a second wave of Corona is seen in Britain. He has expressed the need to impose restrictions for six months. Boris Johnson says that Britain is 6 weeks behind Spain and France for the second wave of Corona. He said that it is certain that there will be a second wave in Britain.

At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed serious concerns about the second wave of corona in Europe. The WHO says that corona cases are increasing alarmingly in Europe. WHO’s regional director Hans Cluj said the escalation of the case should be taken as a warning of what will happen next.

Hans Cluj also said that the number of cases in the week exceeded when the Corona virus was at its peak in Europe in March. In the European region, the number of coronavirus patients has crossed 3 lakhs in a single week.

Half of Europe’s countries have reported more than 10 percent increase in new cases in their last two weeks. In seven of these, new cases of corona have doubled. The total number of corona cases in the world has exceeded three crore 69 lakhs. While more than 9 lakh 56 thousand people have died from Corona.
