5 steps to keep out coronavirus!

Recently, WHO and FIFA (the International governing body of football) had launched a joint campaign to fight against the novel Coronavirus. Led by the renowned football players, a new awareness campaign has been launched to combat COVID-19. The main focus of this campaign is to spread the message among the people to follow the 5 basic steps to kick out the coronavirus.

The “Pass the message to kick out coronavirus” campaign presses the public to focus on the 5 key steps. As par WHO guidance the key points have been unleashed as, regular hand washing, avoid touching your face, coughing etiquettes, social distancing and staying at home. In total, 28 players are involved in this video campaign and has been published in 13 different languages.


Everything starts with your hands. Please keep washing your hands regularly and frequently with either alcohol-based sanitizer or with soap and water. It’s simple but important.


Whenever you sneeze or cough cover your mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue. Also, if you are using a tissue remember to dispose it immediately in a closed lid dustbin and wash your hands. Coronavirus particularly spread and transmit from the droplets. To avoid it’s spreading, follow proper respiratory hygiene.


To prevent the virus from entering your body, avoid touching your face particularly your eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. It is easily possible that your hands may pick up and carry viruses. It is important to wash your hands but at the same time, it is also important to be cautious about not touching your vulnerable parts from where the virus can easily enter your body.


Take a step back and do not get in touch with others for a few days, until the pandemic comes under control. Try to maintain at least 1-meter distance from others. By maintaining such a distance, you can stay prevented from the breathing droplets of others.


If you are not feeling well, stay at home. Please follow all the advice given by local health authorities. Seek medical help if you have a fever or cold or difficulty in breathing. Do not panic in any situation just keep yourself updated with the symptoms of coronavirus.
