The Indian cricketers were having lunch at the restaurant in Melbourne. An Indian cricket fan named Nawaldeep Singh was also present at the same place. Seeing his favorite players sitting in front, he made the video and posted it on social media. Apart from this, the fan’s bill was also paid by the players.

The Indian team has got into controversies ahead of the third Test in Sydney. Apart from team vice-captain Rohit, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Navdeep Saini, and Prithvi Shaw have been accused of breaking Covid -19 protocol of safe distancing. After this, these five players have been sent into isolation. At the same time, the BCCI issued a statement that the Indian players have not violated any protocol.
Stating that, on the occasion of New Year, five players including the vice-captain Rohit Sharma go out to eat. According to the protocol, players are allowed to eat in outdoor restaurants, following social distancing.
