The Universe Boss Chris Gayle is Back, Ready to Play against Royal Challengers Bangalore

The big man Chris Gayle who is yet to play in the IPL season 2020 is all set to play for struggling KXIP. He was suffered from a stomach infection, that’s why he was not available for the opening IPL matches. But now he is all fit and healthy and ready to rock against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday. Fans are hoping Gayle to bring some good time for KXIP as his team is at the lowest in the IPL point table. They lost 6 matches and won just one out of 7 matches so far.

In an official video posted on KXIP’s twitter handle, Chris Gayle said, “To all the fans out there, the wait is over. The Universe Boss is back. I know you all have been waiting for such a long time, the wait is over unless something dramatic happens to the Universe Boss again, which I hope not,”

He further explained, “You know it is still possible. I know we are at the bottom of the table but it is still possible. Seven games to go and we believe we can win all seven, it is still possible. I urge each and every one of the guys to still have the self-belief, like I said the only way we can go is up, it is only up from here. So gonna do it and we can do it,”

Chris Gayle had to play against Sunrisers Hyderabad, but he couldn’t have played due to a stomach bug. He was in the hospital for a few days. In the match against RCB, he is likely to replace Glenn Maxwell who is out of form.
