7 killed and 70 Wounded in the Bomb Explosion during a Class at Religious School in Pakistan

A bomb was exploded during the class at a religious school in Northwestern Pakistan. According to the police, seven children were killed and around 70 others including teachers have been wounded. At the time of the explosion, more than 60 people are in the Madrassa in Peshawar.

A senior police officer, Waqar Azim, said, “The explosion took place in the seminary during the Koran class. Someone took a bag that believed to have the explosive inside the seminary. The explosion took place soon after.” Seven students were killed and 70 others have been wounded as reported so far.

He added that the man who bought the explosive bag inside the Madrassa left the lecture hall just before the blast. Mohammad Ali Gandapur, a senior police officer, confirmed the blast and reported dead and wounded. The number of dead and wounded may increase, he added.

No terrorist group has yet taken responsibility for the blast. The explosion took place after peace was restored for a month in Pakistan. But after the explosion, the fear of jihadists once again seems to be soaring in Pakistan. Peshawar once again became the epicenter of jihadists who are targeting security forces and public spaces.
