While the counting of votes for US Presidential Election results has its final round, Democratic candidate Joe Biden is taking an edge on US President Donald Trump. Biden is leading in key states Georgia Arizona, Nevada, California, and managed to have a narrow gap in Pennsylvania. As of now, the US elections 2020 appear to be heading closer toward the result. A candidate needs to win 270 electoral votes to win the US presidential election.

While the result has not been confirmed yet, the results from key states are trickling in for one of the stiffest fights in US history. From the beginning, the result seems to be fluctuating in favor of and against both parties.
In Michigan, Trump had asked to stop the counting of absentee ballots, while in Georgia he alleged that even improper ballots are being counted. He tweeted on Twitter about fraud in ballot papers. But soon after, Twitter blocked his tweet from sharing.
Amid counting, America witnessed a range of protests from supporters of respective parties. On Thursday, the support clashes, but they were disbursed with the police’s intervention. Meanwhile, 19 former United States attorneys — all of whom served under Republican presidents — released a joint statement calling Trump’s legal threats, claims of fraud and false declarations of victory is premature, baseless, and reckless.
