The Health Ministry has announced that the corona vaccine may rollout within 10 days after approval. Two vaccines Covishield and Covaxin have been approved so far by DCGI on Sunday, 3 January. Following this, the Corona vaccination program may start in the country from 13 or 14 January, confirmed by the health ministry.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the government is ready to roll out the Corona vaccine within 10 days. Rajesh Bhushan said, “Now that the corona vaccine has been approved, the vaccination program will start within 10 days.”

Note that, the Drug Controller General of India had approved the vaccine Covishield of Astrazeneca and Oxford and Covaxin of Bharat Biotech. In the first phase of vaccination, 3 crore people will be vaccinated with the corona vaccine. Among them, vaccines will be given to health workers, frontline workers, and people above 50 years of age.
