
Amid Covid-19 and variant spread, the country is now at the risk of bird flu. Five states have been confirmed affected by Bird flu. According to the report, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are already affected by this contagious disease, but now Himachal Pradesh and Kerala too are at the risk. Hundreds of birds have been killed in these states. Kerala has declared it a state disaster in the state.

Union Minister Sanjeev Balayan says that we have received reports of type A-influenza from five states Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh. In Haryana, the virus has been infected in poultry, while in the rest of the states it has been seen only in wild and migratory birds.
The Union Minister said that it can spread to humans but no such case has been found yet. Stating that there is no cure for bird flu, instructions have been given to all states to be vigilant.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan called a high-level meeting. After the meeting, Chauhan said that no bird flu has been found in any poultry here. We will put a temporary ban on the transport of poultry products (poultry) from Kerala and other affected states. We have monitored the situation.

After confirmation of bird flu in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Kerala, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India has set up a control room in Delhi to monitor the rescue and control measures being carried out by the state authorities.
