
Today the United Kisan Morcha has announced to have a national wide chakka jam (blockades) against the three agricultural laws issued by the central government. The protest will go from 12 noon to 3 pm, meanwhile, farmers will shut down the national and state level highways. In view of the violence of the Republic Day, the Morcha has also issued detailed guidelines to conduct this demonstration in a systematic and peaceful manner.
On the other hand, the police have also tightened the security. 150 companies of paramilitary forces along with additional police forces have been deployed in the border areas and the streets. The borders are barricaded with multilevel barricades, barbed wire, and other barriers addition.

Police Commissioner SN Srivastava, during a meeting of senior officers at Police Headquarters on Friday, inquired about the security arrangements in the border and adjoining areas and directed to make tight arrangements there. Along with security arrangements at the Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur border, security has also been guarded on about 125 roads entering Delhi.
Seven layers are guarded in a four-kilometer area of the border. In view of the violence during the tractor parade, fifty companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed in the border area. Fifty companies will patrol the surrounding areas while fifty companies are kept in reserve.
