
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a digital meeting with Chief Ministers and other representatives of Union Territories today to review the current status of Covid-19 cases. While addressing the people, he said that India has experienced about the vaccine, and speed with safety is necessary for us. He further added; India is in a better position worldwide in terms of mortality and recovery rate due to coronavirus. Modi interacted with ministers and asked about their strategies to prevent Covid-19 cases. Home Minister Amit Shah was also present in this meeting. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanded 1000 more ICU beds from the central government.

Corona vaccines development
PM Modi emphasized the development of corona vaccines is in the final stage at the international and national level. However, we still do not have definitive answers when it’ll available. However, we are fully prepared for all possibilities. The final rollout decision will be taken in consultation with the states.
Campaign related to corona vaccine is National Commitment
PM Modi said; it is a national commitment to stop the covid-19 spread and vanish it from the root through vaccination and other precautions. Such a large vaccination campaign in the country should be smooth, systemic, and well run, it is the responsibility of the Central and State Government.
The vaccine will be given on a priority basis
The Prime Minister said that the vaccines will be given on a priority basis. However, this has to be decided by the center and the states together. The suggestion of every state will be very important in this. Because ultimately they have the idea of how it will be distributed in their states.
