This decision has been taken after a meeting of the Karnataka Brahmin Development Board and the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.

The film Pogaru was released in theaters on 19 February. In the film, the Brahmins are accused of showing the society unfairly. Everyone from Mango to Khas expressed their anger over the scenes and dialogues of the film, after which the makers decided to remove the scenes. According to the news of English website First Post, on Wednesday, the Chairman of Karnataka Brahmin Development Board, Jayaraj issued a statement saying that after meeting the makers, it has been decided that all the controversial scenes of the film will be removed.

BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje expressed her anger against the film Pogaru on Twitter. He expressed his anger on Tuesday by sharing a controversial scene related to the film on his official Twitter account. Shobha Karandlaje wrote in her tweet, ‘It has become fashionable to insult Hindus now. Does anyone have the courage to show this to another religion? Screening of this film should be stopped until every conflicting scene is removed. It cannot be ignored ‘.

Apart from this, many more people have given their reaction to the film Pogaru. Significantly, in this film, a scene is shown in which some goons are seen mistreating a Brahmin doing havan. A goon is shown with his feet on his shoulder. The Brahmin society is very angry because of that scene. While deciding to remove this scene, director Nandkishore of the film Pogaru has said that he did not want to insult any community.
