FIR Filed Against TV Queen Ekta Kapoor for Objectionable Scenes of Army Soldier’s Wife, Court Issues Summons

Indian television producer Ekta Kapoor once again is in trouble for her web series Triple X (XXX) Season 2. Begusarai Court of Bihar has summoned the web series producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor to appear in court on February 8. In this web series being aired on the OTT platform Alt Balaji, the Indian Army soldiers and his wife are accused of making objectionable comments.

Rajiv Kumar, a first class judicial magistrate of Begusarai, Bihar, heard the case. He issued an order against Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor to appear in court on February 8. Shambhu Kumar, a resident of Simaria Adarsh village of Barauni police station, filed a complaint.

Shambhu Kumar has been in the army. They allege that the web series Triple X Season 2 produced by Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor misrepresented the character of the Indian soldier and his wife, which is abusive and embarrassing.

What is the Matter?

The controversy began in June 2020 as soon as Ekta Kapoor’s Triple X series was released. Anger was seen in many places of the country regarding the series. A complaint and FIR was filed against Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor in this case.

Ekta Kapoor has apologized.

Ekta Kapoor also apologized to the Indian Army for the objectionable scenes in this web series. In the series, the wife of an Indian soldier was shown to have a relationship with another man in his absence. Ekta Kapoor said that as soon as information is out, she had removed this content from the related series and also said that it happened due to a lapse.
