Who Was Keshubhai Patel?

Keshubhai Patel is one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in Gujarat. He was among those who raised the BJP in the state. His Relationships with the Party

His relations with BJP continued to deteriorate. He had to resign seven months after becoming Chief Minister for the first time due to a dispute with Shankarsinh Vaghela. Since then, there has been a bit of bitterness in his relationship with the party.
He did not even contest the election in 2002 and indirectly supported the Congress in 2007. He finally resigned from the party in 2012 and formed a separate party. But in 2014 he again joined BJP.
