
Himachal Pradesh government decided to keep all educational institutions, schools, and colleges till December 31. The coronavirus cases in the state have considerably risen in the last week. The death toll from infection has also spiked rapidly. For this reason, the government has decided to close all educational institutions keeping in mind the health of children, youths, and teachers. Though, online studies will continue.

In the cabinet meeting, the current condition of the coronavirus cases and vaccine has been discussed. It is also discussed that whether the government should keep the state boundaries closed. Also, the lockdown can be imposed in the areas where more cases of corona infection are being noted. The meeting consists of 13 agendas. Due to the increase in Corona cases and the festive season, the school had scheduled holidays till 25 November.
