
Delhi Transport Department has imposed new traffic rules for the car owners, driving cars in Delhi. From Tuesday, the vehicles’ owner must have high-security registration plates and color-coded stickers in their four-wheelers. A high-security number plate and color code sticker are mandatory for everyone. The registration of HSNP has already been started from Tuesday.

From now on, Delhi traffic police will collect fines from those vehicle owners who don’t have HSRP and color-coded stickers on their vehicles. A total of 9 teams have been formed, each team will be checking in 9 districts of Delhi. Vehicles’ owners who break the rules can be charged Up to Rs 5500 fine. This new rule will only be applicable for four-wheelers for now.
The Transport Department has launched this campaign against drivers without number plates and color-coded stickers from Tuesday. However, it will only be operational in some areas of Delhi. At present, only four-wheelers (private cars, commercial vehicles) will be monitored by the department, and two-wheelers including scooters, motorcycles will be levied from this campaign.
