Payal Ghosh Joins Republican Party of India (RPI) of Ramdas Athawale, Becomes State Vice President of Mahila Morcha

Since Actress Payal Ghosh accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual abuse and later filed a rape case against him, she’s been in the hot trend, in the meantime, she has joined Ramdas Athawale’s party Republican Party of India. It was reported that she was going to join Ramdas Athawale’s party for several days, but today, her joining the party has been officially announced.

According to the news agency ANI, she has been made the vice president of the women’s wing. A few pictures of Payal have been shared on ANI, in which she is seen holding the party flag in his hands under the leadership of Ramdas Athawale.

The actress is currently a hot topic of discussion for her allegations leveled against film director Anurag Kashyap. The actress alleged that in 2013, Anurag called her to home and sexually assaulted her. The actress has also filed a complaint against the director at the Versova police station.

However, Anurag has denied all the allegations. He has also shown evidence to the police that he was not in India at the time the actress was talking about. She has though sought help from the Women’s Commission of India, Mumbai Police, and PM Modi in this case. The actress had demanded Y+ security, stating the danger of her life, although she has not been given that security yet.

Talking about her career, Payal has worked in Telugu and Kannada films. In 2016, Payal appeared in Star Plus’ famous serial ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya‘. In this serial, she played the role of Radhika. In 2017, Payal made her debut in Bollywood with ‘Patel’s Punjabi Shaadi‘. In this film, she appeared in the lead role alongside Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal.
