PM Modi Praises Team India, Said – Despite Injury, Players Played Well in Australia and Won

The Indian cricket team did a groundbreaking performance in Australia despite many of the players are injured. The Indian team captured the Border Gavaskar Trophy by winning the Test series 2–1. For team India, it was challenged to face Australia in his home despite its top players are injured, but the team knocked Australia into its home and created history. Team India’s victory is appreciated from all sides and their struggle is being appreciated. Now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined in the array who praised the entire team.

Addressing 1200 students present at the 18th convocation of Assam’s Tezpur University on Friday, via video conferencing, the PM said referring to the Indian team that the players continued the fight despite injury and created history in Australia. He said, ‘The Indian team’s game in Australia is a great example of a change in attitude. Even after losing the first Test, they continued to fight.

Modi said, ‘Even after being injured, they struggled for victory and kept on finding new solutions. Some players may be less experienced, but their bravery was no less. They created history with the right talent and temperament.
