Russian President Vladimir Putin may step down next year. Moscow political scientist Valery Valery Solovey reported that the 37-year-old girlfriend of Russia’s president, Alina Kabaeva, and her two daughters are asking him to step down due to his ill health.
According to video footage reviewed by an observer, Putin was recently seen shaking his legs constantly. The report states that Putin also appeared in the footage with his fingers clenched when he was holding a cup that possibly contained drugs.
Speculation about Putin’s stepping down from presidential post has come at a time when Russian legislators are considering a law proposed by the president. It talks of providing lifetime immunity to former presidents from criminal prosecution.
