CBI and NCB investigations are continuing in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. On Friday, the Narcotics Control Bureau filed a chargesheet in the drugs connection case (case number 16/20) in the court. NCB Chief Sameer Wankhede had arrived in the court to file the charge sheet himself. It is being told that this charge sheet was a total of 52 thousand pages, of which 40 thousand pages were copied and 12 thousand pages were copied. A total of 200 witnesses are mentioned in this charge sheet. The name of actress Pradhan Chakraborty is also included in this charge sheet.
Rhea’s lawyer issued statement
After the filing of the chargesheet, now Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Manashinde has given his response. Releasing the statement, Satish said, “We had expected a charge of 12000 pages. NCB has put a lot of emphasis to trap Rhea Chakraborty in some way. The amount of ‘intoxicating substance’ ‘recovered’ from the 33 accused is nothing in front of a Mumbai police officer or narcotics cell or airport custom or any agency caught in a raid or trap.”
“Entire NCB was engaged in disclosing the drug angle of Bollywood. All the well-known faces who have been circulated for questioning have hardly found any evidence against them, in such a situation, I am wondering why? Either the allegations that have been made are false or God knows what is true. The charge sheet is a moist one that stands on the foundation of the evidence recorded unnecessarily after the Supreme Court’s Hurricane Singh Judgment and the statements recorded under section 67 of the NDPS Act.”
“There is no summary of this case without Rhea Chakraborty’s charge. The High Court did not get any evidence on the money earned from the drug trade. We will laugh at this in the end. Satyameva Jayate.”
The matter started after getting a chat related to drugs
The chargesheet is spoken in the language of NCB. Let us know that during the investigation of Sushant case, ED got a chat related to drugs, after which ED handed over the chat to NCB.
