It’s been more than a month since farmers are protesting against a new bill passed by the government. Several levels of talks have been organized between farmers and government, but yet they didn’t reach an agreement. The government has once again called for the farmers who are protesting against the agricultural laws for further talk.
The Union Agriculture Ministry has written a letter to the farmers’ representatives to call for talks at Vigyan Bhawan on December 30 at 2 pm. Farmer leaders have also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, but no conclusion has been finalized in that conversation as well. Thousands of farmers of Punjab and Haryana have been sitting on the Singhu and Tikari border of Haryana-Delhi for more than a month.
According to the letter, the Central Government decided to meet Farmers on 30th December, at 2 pm at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. There is Hope that the talk between Government and farmers’ leaders will reach any conclusion.
