
The counting of the by-elections in the seven assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh is going on. By so far, BJP is leading on 5 seats whereas SP is on two seats. The counting of votes started from 8 am. According to exit poll data, BJP can win 5-6 seats out of 7 assembly seats in UP. On the other hand, the Samajwadi Party can get 1-2 assembly seats. By-elections were held in Firozabad’s Tundla, Amroha’s Naugawa, Kanpur Nagar’s Ghatampur, Unnao’s Bangarmau, Jaunpur’s Malhani, and Deoria Sadar as well as Bulandshahr seat.

BJP’s Usha Sirohi is leading in Bulandshahr, whereas Prem Pal Dhangar is leading from Tundla, Shrikant Katiyar from Bangarmau, and Satya Prakash Mani Tripathi from Deoria. SP’s Javed Abbas is leading from Naugawan Sadat and BSP’s Kuldeep Shankhwar from Ghatampur. Independent Dhananjay Singh is leading from Malhani seat.
