TMKOC: TRP is More Important than Coronavirus; Asit Modi Wants the Shooting to Continue!!

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is one of the most popular shows on TV. With the theme of spreading awareness with comedy and laughter, the show has crossed over 2900 episodes. As of the present time, the world is suffering from the pandemic ‘Coronavirus’ and all the public places have been shut down by the government but the makers of Taarak Mehta want the shooting of the show still to continue.

Asit Modi, the producer of the show has tweeted requesting the government to allow them to continue the shooting. He said that with the minimal unit maintaining all the cleanliness and obeying all the guidelines they still want the work to continue. While referring to the Maharashtra government in the tweet, he pleaded to guide them about the circular. He also mentioned that they are following all the precautionary measures suggested by the government and asked for permission to continue the shoot with the minimal unit.

Apart from this, he also asked the government to provide some clarity about the circular as they are not getting it. He mentioned that, although they are following all the preventive guidelines to keep hygiene on the set but the film city is not allowing them to shoot any further, so he asked for permission from the government to allow them to continue the shoot from tomorrow.

Although the TV show is immensely popular among the people but some fans did not like this decision of the producer Asit Modi to continue the shoot in this situation, where the lives of people are at risk.
